More Awards for Ergobaby!!

Posted by Melissa Luhrman on 1st Aug 2016

Ergobaby's reputation for quality baby carriers has just been awarded yet more awards with winning Canstar BlueNumber 1 for Customer Satisfaction and Kid Style FileFavourite Baby Carrier.

In the Canstar Awards Ergobaby emerged with a five star rating for overall satisfaction to win the Most Satisfied Customers award offering great value, a cosy fit, most comfortable and easy to use baby carrier. At Bubcarrier we only stock some of the best baby carriers and we agree that Ergobaby Baby Carriers are some of the best available in Australia right now.

A baby carrier is one of the most useful baby products you can buy and Canstar found that 85% of the respondents said using a baby carrier gave them more freedom.

When looking for a baby carrier you should look at comfort and ask whether it provides you good back support and gives your baby the support it needs. Also check are your baby's hips supported in a M Shape position which is recommended by the Hip Dysplasia Institute and does the baby carrier support newborns head and neck?

You should also consider when and where you may use your baby carrier. Will you be mainly using it at home, going shopping, hiking etc? The climate where you you live is something else you may like to consider.  Also think how long you want to use your carrier for as carriers vary on what weight your child is to start using it and they have a weight capacity for how long you can use it.

Here is a great image on the correct positioning your baby carrier should provide in the first year of babywearing.

How Canstar Rated the Best Baby Carrier?

Canstar Blue commissions Colmar Brunton to survey 1,300 Australian consumers across a range of categories to measure and track customer satisfaction. The outcomes reported are the results from customers within the survey group who have purchased a baby carrier, sling or wrap in the last 3 years – in this case, 524 Australian parents.

Brands must have received at least 30 responses to be included. Results are comparative and it should be noted that brands receiving three stars have still achieved a satisfaction measure of at least six out of 10. Not all brands available in the market have been compared in this survey. The ratings table is first sorted by star ratings and then alphabetically. A rated brand may receive a ‘N/A’ (Not Applicable) rating if it does not receive the minimum number of responses for that criteria.
